myAsuris updates add value
We're fortunate to be in a leadership position to promote the well-being of nearly 70,000 members in Washington state and shape the future of health care reform. To that end, myAsuris.com has made amazing strides toward transparency and intuitive navigation with recent upgrades.
The enhanced Treatment Cost Estimator improves the transparency of health care costs for members of our health-focused plans. Members can explore cost information for more than 100 treatments and conditions and drill down to view costs by service for a specific provider. Recent improvements incorporated the following:
- The estimated costs of more treatments via our average Treatment Cost Estimator
- Expanded services in our Provider-Specific Out-of-Pocket-Estimator so members can get even more estimates based on their provider, benefits and procedure
Helping members navigate the health care system is a key component of the myAsuris.com philosophy — Advise, Navigate, Reward. Navigation just got easier with the launch of a direct link to the improved Benefits pages. These pages now include:
- A streamlined look and feel
- Easy-to-navigate tabs
- Easier navigation between the average Treatment Cost Estimator and Provider-Specific Out-Of-Pocket-Estimator
- A searchable Benefit booklet
- Health care reform's preventive care benefit details
- Convenient print icon on each page
We've also incorporated three types of Emergency Room (ER) alternatives into our Provider Search filter. "ER alternatives" will provide members with information on the following options:
- Urgent care clinics
- Retail health centers
- Walk-in clinics
Helpful information on ER alternatives—such as services typically performed there, more specific office hours, and links to real-time wait times—appears in new, optional fields in the Enhanced Provider Profiles.
