Revision to computer-aided detection with imaging procedures
Effective for dates of service on or after May 1, CPT 0159T Computer-aided detection, including computer algorithm analysis of MRI image data for lesion detection/characterization, pharmacokinetic analysis, with further physician review for interpretation, breast MRI will be considered as part of the primary service and denied as provider liability. Services which we consider part of another service are not separately reimbursable.
