Our enhanced dental experience is built on the principle that good oral health is important to overall health—and minimizing health issues through preventive oral care helps achieve a better standard of care. Our medical and dental plans work together to help members live healthier; that’s why we strive to make dental coverage so comprehensive, flexible and affordable for employers and employees.
Beginning with Jan. 1, 2024, effective dates, we’re bringing the enhanced Asuris dental experience to employer groups with dental coverage. Employees and their covered dependents will have access to a better standard of care through our expanded national and local provider networks; more plan options offering rich benefits with comprehensive coverage; affordable coinsurance on basic and major services; and no out-of-pocket expenses for in-network preventive services. And with medical-dental integration, employees with eligible medical conditions will continue to receive additional dental cleanings each plan year at no extra cost.
When signed into their Asuris account, employees will be able to access our expanded national and local dental networks using a new provider search tool on asurisdental.com. And, after receiving care, they’ll begin receiving new, easier-to-read EOBs—all while receiving the same exceptional dental customer service they’ve always had, fully integrated with medical customer service.
With the enhanced Asuris dental experience, you’ll have even more coverage options to choose from:
- Voluntary employee-paid plans allow you to offer your employees access to comprehensive dental benefits on our expanded networks at little to no cost.
- Dual Option (available for groups of 51+) enables you to offer employees choice between multiple plans so they can choose the best fit for their needs and budget.
- Orthodontia coverage is available for groups with 10+ employees enrolled in dental benefits.
All offer the convenience of joint medical and dental billing and account management.
