Help familiarize employees with all their benefits for 2024

2024 is still new, and now is the best time to help your employees learn about their benefits and get a healthy start to the year. To make sure they can access all the information they’ll need, encourage them to create an account on asuris.com or download the Asuris app. Creating an account enables employees to unlock health plan features that will help them get the most from their benefits through an integrated, personalized experience:

  • Covered preventive care: Annual checkups, immunizations and screenings help employees be proactive about their health. They can also detect problems early, when they’re easier and less costly to treat. Your Asuris health plan covers many in-network preventive care services at 100%. Urge employees to visit our preventive care list to see what’s covered and schedule their preventive care appointments early in the year.
  • Finding care and estimating costs: Our updated cost estimator makes it easier to search for in-network doctors and specialists. Employees can also estimate out-of-pocket costs for covered services locally and nationwide when they’re away from home. From the account home page, click Claims & costs, then Estimate costs to access the cost estimator tool.
  • Telehealth: Accessing convenient, cost-effective and high-quality virtual care for nonurgent needs and behavioral health saves employees time and reduces lost work time. To see which virtual care options are available, employees can sign in to their account and click Covered services on the account home page, then Resources, then Telehealth to access virtual providers.
  • Nurse advice: Our nurse advice service, Advice24, provides fast, convenient support and guidance to appropriate care from a registered nurse for everyday health concerns. Nurse advice is accessible anywhere, anytime from a phone and, on most plans, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. (PT) via chat from a computer or mobile device. It’s embedded in most fully insured plans and available as a buy-up option to self-funded groups. To access Advice24, employees can sign in to asuris.com or the Asuris app, then click Find care.
  • Behavioral health: To make it easy for employees to get care when facing a behavioral health challenge, share our “Know your behavioral health options” flyer to guide employees to all the ways they can find and access behavioral health care. Or, employees can sign in to their account and click Resources, then the Behavioral health tab to see their options.
  • Wellness: Asuris Motivate™ provides personalized tools and resources designed to guide each employee to improved health. Small groups on metallic plans earn a medical premium reduction of 3% for each enrolled employee who completes a Health Assessment and biometric screening. Plus, enrolled employees can earn generous wellness rewards. Here you’ll find small group, large (51+) fully insured and ASO group wellness resources for yourself and your employees.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Our EAP offers early intervention and support services to help employees quickly and privately resolve issues—such as stress, depression, anxiety, alcohol and drug abuse, absenteeism, insomnia and problems at work—before they become bigger problems. The EAP is embedded for small groups and available as an option for groups of 51+.
  • Asuris Advantages: Employees can access the Asuris Advantages program for value-added discounts and savings on health-related products, gym memberships, hearing aids, vision care and much more. Employees can find more Asuris Advantages information here.
